Dream Job?

The phrase “Dream Job” is an oxymoron. A job is something you have to do in order to get something so that you don’t lose everything. It’s not necessarily part of how a person would craft their Dream Life…that’s another concept altogether.

So, no dream job for me.

I am, though, committed to trying to live through my dreams as much as I can. I will not divulge what all that entails, because it’s a bit sacred. Also, I don’t even know how to fully articulate it. It involves writing and performance and leaving a mark, and all that good sh**. But it’s also tied into more woo-woo than the average reader of Bloganuary posts would want to endure, so I’ll spare the “masses”. Ha!

I will say that I’ve let a lot of very non-dream-job jobs get in the way of whatever the dream is, and I’m trying to stop doing that! I think everyone should do what they can to make their life and their dreams dovetail. It’s an ongoing process, and I think there are few actual jobs that can do that for a person.

So, get out there, do your jobs, dream your lives, and live your dreams!
